A LITTLE HELP GOES A LONG WAY

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Everything you need to find your feet with myClient.

Explore the essentials below.

Getting started

What is myClient?

myClient brings customer records, employee schedules, appointment booking, promotions, and events together for businesses that manage staff, customers, and appointments across industries.

Where can I use it?

Use the web app in your browser or the native app on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. The same myClient account connects to the same business records. An internet connection is required. Public App Store distribution is not linked here yet.

How do I create an account?

Open the web app and follow signup. New accounts require phone verification and email confirmation. Then sign in and choose Create a business, or accept a customer invitation. Signup depends on the development service being configured and available.

Can I use an old SchoolSora account?

myClient uses its own accounts and backend. Sign in with a myClient account; predecessor SchoolSora accounts are separate.

Appointments & customers

How does a customer book?

An owner or manager publishes a time slot with an employee, service, start time, and duration. An invited customer signs in, opens Book, and chooses an available time. Anonymous public booking is not available.

How do invitations work?

Add a customer, choose Manage customer login, and generate an invitation for their email. Share the code yourself. The customer creates and confirms an account with that email and accepts the invitation. Invitation emails are not sent automatically.

Does myClient prevent double bookings?

The booking system rejects overlapping employee slots, duplicate bookings, and overlapping appointments for a customer. Customers cannot see other customers’ booking details.

Can appointments be canceled?

Customers can cancel a future appointment from its date in the booking calendar. Owners and managers can also cancel appointments. Cancellation makes the slot available again, but does not restore the monthly booked appointment allowance.

Can I set up a recurring schedule?

Currently, time slots are published individually. Recurring availability and external calendar synchronization are not included.

How do customer QR check-ins work?

In the native app, customers can show a private QR pass. Team members scan it to record arrival or departure. A customer must check in before checking out on the same business-local day. Camera scanning needs a physical iPhone or iPad and camera permission. An appointment is not required.

Your team & workspace

How do I add my employees?

Employees create and confirm their own accounts and share their account IDs. The owner adds them from People or Settings. Owners administer access, managers maintain records and schedules, and employees view the business schedule.

Which timezone does the calendar use?

Appointment times and check-ins use the business timezone selected in settings. Confirm that timezone when creating your workspace.

Do changes appear instantly on every device?

Refresh to see changes made by another person or device. Mobile supports pull to refresh. Updates are not pushed instantly to every open screen.

What are promotions and events?

Owners and managers can publish promotions and events that customers can see in their portal. Automatic promotional emails and notifications are not included.

Pricing & plans

How much does myClient cost?

Starter is free and available now: 3 active team members including owners, 25 customer records, and 30 booked appointments per month. Growth is coming soon at $29 USD/month for 10 active team members, 500 customer records, and 500 booked appointments per month. Pro is coming soon at $59 USD/month for 25 active team members, 2,500 customer records, and 2,000 booked appointments per month. Prices are per business. There is no free trial. Paid plans await production hosting and billing.

How are plan limits counted?

Active team limits include owners. Appointments count when created. Rescheduling the same appointment does not count again; cancellation does not restore the allowance. Existing records remain accessible when a limit is reached.

Do you charge my card automatically?

Starter requires no payment. This marketing site has no live checkout. Sandbox subscription testing does not charge real cards.

What happens if I cancel a paid plan?

Our planned policy stops the next monthly renewal. You keep access through the end of the billing period you already paid for, then the workspace becomes read-only when paid access expires. This policy will apply when paid subscriptions launch.

What happens when access expires?

The business workspace becomes read-only when access expires. Check your workspace settings for plan status. Live paid subscription access is not available from this site.

Can my customers pay for appointments?

Customer payment collection is not currently included. myClient subscription billing is separate from payments for your business’s services.

Data & privacy

Who can see my business records?

Business access is scoped by membership and role. Customers cannot view other customers’ booking details. Each team member should use their own account instead of a shared password.

Where are records stored?

The current myClient backend uses Supabase in Canada Central. This describes the current application data region, not a guarantee that all service providers or processing are in that region. A formal privacy policy and retention terms must be finalized before public launch.

How should I handle customer passes and invitations?

Share invitation codes privately with the intended customer. Treat QR passes as private. Passes expire after one year; replacing or revoking a pass invalidates the previous code.

Availability & troubleshooting

What isn’t included yet?

Recurring availability, automated reminders, customer payments, public anonymous booking, and external calendar synchronization are not included. Live subscriptions and final public launch policies are not available yet.

Why can’t I sign in or register?

Use your myClient account and confirm your email. New registration also needs phone verification. If signup is unavailable, the development service may not have registration enabled. No shared or default login is provided.

Why can’t I see or edit a record?

Check your selected business, your role, and whether workspace access has expired. Refresh after changes. Customers need an invitation to the correct business; employees need the owner to assign access.

Where can I get help with an appointment?

Contact the business you booked with using the contact details it has shared with you. That business manages its availability, appointments, and invitations. A dedicated myClient support contact has not yet been published.
